Bitter sweet

My face, It swallows the shadow, I am invisible to all, till I'm in light, then I am visible... That's not the point I'm trying to make.. This night was terrifying, yet exciting, let me start from the first.

I'm running down the road, from the man that's been hunting me down for the last two weeks, I quickly take a corner into an alley, into the darkness, I am invisible again, it was too late to realize he had a flash light, why did I not think that the man trying to kill me had a flash light? I don't know, it's not any of my concern, he comes around the corner, but I am well hidden, he finds me, I scream distracting him for a minute, and I make the first move, I hit him in the face. It hurt, I was in pain, why didn't I try to hit him some where else, other than his face, which had a lot of bones, I brace myself for the hit. It hurt as well, but what he didn't expect, was the second scream, yet again I am running, I fall into a hole, why is there a hole in the middle of the road!? Questions that may never be answered, but why do I always find the unanswerable questions. Again, another question that may never be answered. I quickly aim two pistols and shoot, twelve shots fired, he had no chance of survival, yet I realize he is okay, and running after me, I run to my car, he's already in it, I panic, he shows me a picture of Sanisha and asks where she's at, I quickly tell him in relief that he's only trying to kill her.

The breath I breathe

Lost, and now I am found. Today is the day I see her, she drives up on her bike, or motorcycle, whatever you prefer to call it. She steps out, she's manly but yet womanly, I call her Nelsie, that's kind of her name, but it's also what I call her, she yells, and then calms down, why did she yell? I apologize for my actions, she holds her cheek, she understood why though, she tells me why she came into my part of the town, she has a problem with a few guys trying to beat her, nothing much just the average. So I tell her I'll take care of it, like I always do. I go into her house and I am suddenly beat, as they beat me and ask me why I am here, I scream I don't know as loud as I can, as if I just saw a little puppy dying and someone asked me why the puppy died, I don't know.. That is another story for another time. The rope is tight against my hands almost to the point where it burns, I hate the feel of burning, so I look at the leader of the two, and give him the most hateful stare he's ever seen, and yell, let me go! I didn't do it!!! He slaps me, I wake up two hours later, it's her, I scream and try to run away but I can't, I try to tell the guys to kill me, I think you know who came in, who has frightened me, so bad, so horribly bad, and she's not dead.
